Professor Debbie Holley / Bournemouth University

Debbie Holley, Professor of Learning Innovation, Bournemouth University,  is a passionate educator who holds a National Teaching Fellowship and serves on their national committee. She was awarded her Principal Fellowship of AdvanceHE for strategic leadership in technological innovation and was recently recognised for her sector leading work on Technology Enhanced Learning in the sector with a Senior CMALT from the Association for Learning Technology, Her specialist areas were the ‘tilt’ to online with Covid-19 and Virtual Worlds for educational purposes. In her former role, as Head of the Centre for Excellence in Learning at BU she managed three teams to deliver digital culture change following the procurement of Brightspace, a new institutional VLE. This body of work has been utilised as a springboard to encourage the redesign and move to pedagogical approaches by programme teams.
